Sea Ray is having one of their parties on the island and friends say they do it up.

Me and the Mrs are probably taking the fich bote down.

Looks to be a ramp right on the bridge crossing the IC which would put us a mile or two from the island and a straight shot.

Anyone else interested?

Hey Gary, I'd join you, but I'm over 1000 miles from my boat, in stinky NJ. Had to come up for a Sunday wedding. I will come up to St. Lucie whenever, or, whenever you want to meet up at peanut... Are you in for the Jupiter meeting on Aug. 12th?

I finally made it out into the ocean last week.

Launched from a ramp on one of the bridges by Stuart. Takes you past a huge sand bar (at low tide anyhow) on the way out.

We may be doing some boat camping up in Sebastion next week/weekend too since the Mrs has the week off.

Sounds like I'm getting a reputation!! lol!! I'm working on the 22nd:( but I'll be ready to get wet on the 29th! Keep in mind the 08/12/07 date, that's when we're all going to try to make it to the Jupiter sandbar!!!!

I believe you were at the St. Lucie inlet..there's a big sandbar on the north side as you're heading out towards the ocean. If you go west from that boat ramp instead of east, it takes you right into the Manatee Pocket where there's some good eating and drinking to dock at!

Whats up on Sat. anything going on, i think the girlfriend is working, so I have the latter part of the day to myself. might take a little run after fine tuning a bit...

We drove the car up to Sebastion today and were dying w/o the boat!!

Think we'll try Peanut island tomorrow and then boat camping back in Sebastian first of week.

The ramp at Blue Heron (Phil Foster park) gets really busy on weekends. I'd get there early. Otherwise you can head south from one of the ramps off Ellison Wilson north of PGA.
