Back when this was the A stock engine it got more drivers on the race course because everyone could afford it.Back in the 70s and early 80s when we would go to the stock nationals their was always 10 or 11 elimination heats just for that class alone.I paid $120.00 for my engine that was race ready.I know times have changed but it has always been my favorite racing engine.

Excellent point !! I would have to say the MK 55 - H in my opinion is my favorite . what a motor !!

My first motor was a KG-4 on a Marchetti Hydro. I think it ran in the 40's. I also had a 55-H on a Sidson that ran D Stock. I guess I am showing my age.:D

KG4 Bob, living in Michigan, you must have been to all the Trenton races over the years. Remember a lot of the KG4's there. Fred Miller used to officiate all of them. Is he still around?
