Do a search, that loser has been beaten to death. Well, maybe not quite to death, but he should be. Then put your location in your profile.
No matter which forum you post it in you'll get the same answers.

Please be cautious with your hard earned $$$$, like Joe said do a search and you'll find what others found out the hard way.

What part of do a search did you miss? Balckbird comes up about twice a year and it's the same crap every time. I almost got suckered into that loser but I found S&F and listened. Good advice would be to do the same.

I would have to say that "Dutch" has found out the hard way. I've seen them on ebay, they talk a good talk.

Searches have turned up nothing but bad news on this company. Sounds like a glorified junk dealer.
Anybody have any suggestions on where to get this done that would be a little closer to Ohio than Florida. Nothing against this guy in Fla. but it would be nice to find something a little closer. If not, I may have to give this guy Monty a call.

They rebuild motors with used parts and just in general screw ya. Just like Gus Haggler and Gerold Troxler screwed me. Is that enough for you?

I dealing with them now,as July 18thThey talk a good talk. When you first talk to them they say that they are good and you'll have your motor back in two weeks. They won't give you a flat price it's always ABOUT 2,000.
They never contacted me as they said they would. They said to send all my information ph# address, fax# wk# and email address.I sent them two phone numbers, one work number, work and home e-mail address. Two and a half weeks later I called them, and told me that now they are three weeks behind. Well ok I can understand that. Then that was it no calls or emails. I call Tuesday @ 6:33 am and said they would call me back he was on the other line.Ok, so 8:30am comes around and I call back, secratary tells me it's ready they just need their money so they can ship it.
They don't accept credit cards debit cards, And she can be very unprofessional.Call them see what they tell you, Good Luck you decide

They just rebuilt my motor. They need to talk to customers like adults.
She says she has control of everything, very rude sarcastic. Will pat you on the back with one hand and slap you with the other.
Very bad customer service They kept qouting me 2,000.
When done it's 221 dollars more. :(

Not trying to downplay your situation but it is actually the best luck I have heard about with blackbird. I hope there are no surprises down the road.
