Every weekend! We had 4 Allys, 2 tunnels and Tigs Formula out on the beach at Wolf Island (around the bend from the Limehouse sandbar) Sunday.
Tailrace is getting too crowded to run at speed and DNR is cracking down.
Going to Augusta Southern Nationals this weekend!

So you're scared to use a water hose on your boat? Not much difference in the water from the Ashley to the Stono. Both are affected by the tide and the gators don't seem to mind. Besides that's why Bob's sells low water flush kits.
The Ashley up that far has not many places to run. Too many no wakes and too much trash/ debris in the water. If the drawbridge is open I run the Ashley between Drayton Hall and downtown.
Besides in the Stono I can run 90-100 for miles and don't have to worry about a jetski cutting corners on those tight bends the Ashley has. If you've never been to Wolf Island you are missing out The whole place is a sandy beach with angel oak trees covering the place lots of shade. And the sand bar in the Stono has about 5x as many people partying.
It won't kill ya to wash your boat when you're done. It won't kill your boat either. Besides everyone knows the more salt in the water the less prop slip you have. Salt has better traction. ...........................Anyway you need to jump on the lowcountry playbuddies thread it is more active.
Check out what I found in the Ashley between the sandbar and Middleton...............................

Just pulled out of the Ashley. Ran from 526 to Brittlebank park several times 95-105. Just enough chop to loosen her up. Gave my DNR buddy, his wife and kids a 100 mph ride, one at a time. His wife said to call her anytime I needed a passenger to ballast the boat; she could save a a$$ of $$$$ not having to drive to Disney World for a thrill ride.......at the same time some lady was raising hell at the dock about my "dangerous speed". Charlie was like... "look at my hat and my shirt, I am DNR, he's not bothering anybody." She shut up and left.
:D Didn't mean to slam ya on the Ashley. You just need to come hang out near the Limehouse landing sometime. It can't be to salty if the gators don't mind. I'll be in Augusta this weekend but any other time works for me. We go anytime we can all manage time off. We run Shem creek to Capers every few weeks. And I am in the Ashley near North Bridge whenever I can.
Friday, Sat, and Sunday afternoos there are usually half a dozen 100+ boats hanging out for sunset on Wolf Island. Once the sun sets and the river clears out we run 3 or 4 wide 90-100mph dusk till dark. Eddie's SS probably has the best wholeshot, but he has to slow for the wakes, I just float thru them and hammer on by.
Limehouse to Kiawah is a great run but too salty for most.
As far as a get together goes. Sometime after Labor day would be great. The idiots will have there Seadoo-doos packed up for winter. Besides there's more horsepower to be made once the temp drops. Bushy Park is great off season just a few lone fishermen to dodge. And DNR slacks off.
It's just tooooooooooo damn hot to idle thru Drayton Hall, Magnolia Gardens, then Middleton Place no wake zones........... At least there's shade under the oaks at Wolf Is on Rantowles Creek.

I tried to run up there on sat, but ran short on gas:o . I put in at Hobcaw, in Mt. Pleasant, and got past both plantations, and some neighborhood in Somerville with a no-wake zone before I turned around. It was 60 miles, round trip. I made it back on fumes. The fuel gauge was on the pin, past E, by the time I got back in the harbor;) .
Riverrocket, sorry about your engine:(
