Trying to get all you guys opinions on these....Drove one(euro scott's) for the first time over the weekend and was wondering what are all the differences over the years of production on this boat. Any difference in hulls?....ride difference?.....speed difference? Whats the better year models?....What all did Wally change if any?
Thanks fellas...

They made a ski and a mod v bottum. The ski bottum packs more air and is a little faster (so most say) and the mod v bottum slows down better for turning back in the modv racing days.

Mine is a 97 and has the big one piece hatch in the rear that opens up toward the rear for rigging , service , and storage . I like this better for the ease of usage , however the newer models like Scotts have the console on the right for shifter and stereo etc . That is a nice feature . Mine has the MVP bottom like Scotts , all around great boat and very roomy .:D
tom, the console was something you used to be able to order aftermarket from wally; hopefully Jack will build them too, I could use one.
Itchy,
the two biggest differences I know of are mentioned above:
1)the ski bottom vs. the mod vp
2) the rear hatch. While the fixed rear seats with the access hatch in the newer models is convenient, the older ones have the entire seat that comes up that makes it really easy to work on your rigging, or is you want to take the whole thing out. If given the choice, I would probably go with the newer style rear seat, but were splitting hairs here.
Fortunately, Roark and Wally both built excellent high quality boats, and Jack will keep that tradition I am sure. There are no bad ones, and the average person will probably not be able to notice the difference driving the different bottoms if not told.

as i recall the console was an addl $300, i think woth all that as the stereo and switches stay dry

LIL FYI....
I'm know we loaded up a few different consoles, front seats, and backseats molds for the Euro from Wally's .... so Jack should have to molds to build whatever you want/need!!!! :p :p

That gives me what I wanted to know. And I deffinately gotta get one of those consoles if I go with one! That was one of my favorite parts of euroscott's. Can't decide if I like the bench better or the 2 buckets in the back. Does'nt really matter either way what the hatch does. Don't think I'm in the market for a new '08 due to the fundage (or lack there of) but would'nt mind having one of the '97 to '01-'02 models in good shape.
Thanks again fellas.

You know the new T-3 has the console too.And cost as much as used Euro.;) Thought you wanted a center steer.

Side steer has it's advantages : Right side driver , left side tools, spare gas , props and COOLER . makes for a good balance !:D

Just wanting a change w/ a lil more room without sacrificing the love of speed. It's actually a lil more than what I've been looking into....

Thanks guys -
Beer30 got me started on the idea. I just love your boat. It just took a while to come up with something as nice as yours but not the same. I will post pics as it comes together. It is the little brother to the turbine Eagle.
It will have a big block. One of Wayne Taylor's 3.4s with his new Wolf computer system. One of his new engines will go on as soon as it is complete.

Very cool boat LT.... I imagine between this and the jones, this is not the first time you have heard that though. Keep us updated if you get a chance as you get her rigged.
