View Full Version : Routing trim hoses? (thru-hull)

Finishing my 18' talon w/ a 20" offshore mid and cle lower. need some help with the trim hoses would like to know if there is any special fittings to go thru the deck, so I don't have to go through the splashwell boot. Thanks in advance!

there are barbed thur fittings, but to get them long enough to go thru thr transom is another problem. try getting son 1/4 or 3/8 SS pipe and putting pipe to barb fitting on each end.

I have some CLAMP BRACKET BOLTS that are hollowed out, and the trim hoses screw to them. (I think this a factory setup? not sure)

I don't think someone "rigged" this up, it looks factory.

I'm not using them on my Quartershot, if you can use them, I might let them go.

They came on the Hydrostream when I got it, and I had a newer style trim pump that was in the clamp bracket, so I just put them in a box.

thanks for the info, hsbob I don't have to go through the transom just thin fiberglass on the deck, so if you could tell me where I could get those fittings I would Appreciate it.

I used AN bulkhead fittings and got adapters for the merc fittings and ran stainless from the outside fitting to the motor and jackplate. It gets pricey, whether it's worth it or not is opinion.
