AOF/BYUBOYZ Hot Rod World Championships.....Now thats a mouthfull, ain't it...I don't know much about the lil kneeldowns classes, just that they will be quite a few ov them...The Drags will be 1/8 mile...the reason for 1/8th mile is to keep the speeds down and safety up...If U prop ya bote for 1/8th mile, the first 400' will be all the rush a normal man kin handle anyway...*Class1*-STOCK bass botes/ski botes, no performance motors, no low water pickups, gasoline only, no open exhaust(on v-6's), production hull wit all seats and equipment az produced at factory.........*Class2*-Lake Botes, any production ski/bassbote, any mods, any fuel, NO NITROUS, muss have 2 seats, NO Factory Racebotes.........*Class3*-Racebotes, anything goes...........High impact lifejackets are recomended in all classes, but Lifeline(or equal) are mandatory in the Racebote class.....Helments are mandatory in all classes....Long pants or race suits are mandatory in Class 3.......Hotel info: Official Hotel will be the Days Inn, Pineville...318-640-5818, but have no room for trailers, $53.10.....Hampton Inn, 318-487-8500 for doubles, are right across the interstate from the lake...thier are all major chains of motels right across the interstate from the lake, and all have vacancies at this time....They have camping facilities, on a first cum first serve basis at the park(lake)........Entry fee will be $50.00 per entrant(racer)...this fee only covers the insurance and the ambulance for the weekend...Saturday the drag section will run for Plaques or trophies(ain't been cut and dried yet)in each class...On Sunday, plans are to run a KING OF THA HILL race...all in one anything goes, last bote standing is the KING OF THA HILL...Trophy and BRAGGING RITES!!...Racing should start around Noon...This is a first for joint venture for AOF and Me so bear wit us and cum to enjoy yaself...Be thare or be square!!!!!!...REX:cool:
