Y'all may enjoy this, it happened last Sunday on Greery Ferry lake. The Pontoon was 2 weeks old, The story is that there was 5 people standing on the top deck and the driver did a slow speed turn, the boat flipped like it was in slow motion, the motor was still running and the owner had to go under and turn it off.The moto is a 4 stroke Yamaha. The photo was taking by one of my freinds

That's the best place for that 4-stroke powerhead to be.

I don't enjoy any boating accidents, but it further demonstrates that those boats are dangerous.

Any boat is dangerous if you drive like an idiot!! 5 people STANDING on the sundeck!! at SPEED?? probably all drunk. As John Wayne once said ......"Life is tough, life is tougher if you're stupid"

I just don't give a damn, I STILL say tri-toons that run much over 30ish are just UNSAFE. Whens the last time a deckboat spun and flipped? THAT'S why I bought a deckboat lastyear instead of a tri-toon for my wife and kids. I know there are SEVERAL BBC toons that run OVER 60mph, but just because a boat can do xyz speed don't mean that is SHOULD BE doin such speeds.
They are just violating to many laws of physics while planed off and turnin,
