What are high compression cranking values? Say the 100+ octane compressions.

Techno:
I do know that 100 octane racing motor gasoline will support a 2.5 Drag , 260, or 245 HP Engines with stock port timing the correct thickness head gaskets , at sea level with total timing @ 25 degrees with a stock Mercury umbrelled type shallow bowled combustion chamber configuration cylinder head with 26 CC's and yeild 168-175 PSI cranking on a healthy engine ( 4 % or so leak down ) with NO PROBLEM WHAT SO EVER......
Hope that answered your question...

Thanks Jay that answered it perfectly.
With the recent low octane posts was just wondering what the high numbers would be.
