As far as a day pass, do mean for the Chain? They have them at any marina, but I'm not sure what they go for. THEY WILL PULL YOU OVER WITHOUT A CHAIN STICKER!! If your putting in at the Port, the launch pass is $10.00 and you buy them at the bar. As far as I know, they're racing tonight. I just hooked up the boat and will be there by about 5:30. I have a 21 Skater with twin 2.5's parked right past the brat stand. Stop by and say hi if ya want. Later, Dave

Sounds like you made it out last night, but yes, you definitely need to make sure you have a Chain o' Lakes User Sticker. One day stickers are $10 (plus a small fee you may have to pay to the place you get it), 5 day stickers are $20 and depending on the size of your boat, the sticker for the typical boat (under 25') is $60 for the season.

You could have 5 topless chicks smoking crack in broad daylight and not get pulled over, but if you don't have that chain sticker, they'll strip search you and confiscate your first born.

You can get them at various marinas around the chain or you can stop at the Fox Waterway Agency in downtown Fox Lake (behind the McDonalds right on the water) and get them there during business hours. I think you skip the extra fee if you get one there.

No problem, glad I caught ya before you left. Thats the first thing they look for then they try and nail you on anything else. Thanks for the compliment on the boat and the 36 Skater your referring to is Fred Nielsons. It cost around $765,000.000!!! The boat is over the top. Did you guys end up staying out there long? There was quite a bit of scenery last night huh? Later, Dave
