I have a 94 model 200 bare block that I am wating to build up. What is the difference in the later model 850690T2 crankshaft and the older 9536T4 cranks... I am going to use my 2000 model electronics and would like to leave my original O-Ring PH together so I am on a quest to find a crank and rods for the buildup...

Any help again would be appreciated...

So then I would think that in a 94 model block a person could use a 98-2000 model crank and possibly the top cap from the 98 or 2000 as well??

yes, they are the same.

So the Top cap follows which style the top bearing is on the crank regardless of the block? Also the center main bearings , which style they are depends solely on the year of the crank and not the block? Sorry for all the specific questions about this swap, I have looked around and could find no answers that were definite yes or no...

ive used a crank from a 93 in the motor that is on my boat right now which is a 2000 and changed nothing. bottom bearing is same size but i would change it to the steel bearing cage bearing from promarine while its apart. top bearing is also the same. they should be identicle.
