can i use .75mm head gaskets on a block that has been decked? don't know exactly how many thousanths decked but the heads are stock 37cc.

You would need to check the deck height with a deck mic to establish just how much has been indeed removed. A stock 260 piston at TDC is .004" reccessed in the hole and a stock drag piston at TDC is .004" pertruding out of the hole ( a difference of .008" total ) Mercury suggest a 1 mm gasket not a thin 3/4 mm with the drag for a safe piston to head clearance as high rpms will streatch a rod slightly . The CC is not the issue here its the lack of squish area. This is a CRITICAL number and if the wrong head gasket is used you going to hit the piston to the head and either close up ring lands, and or bend a rod or crank ! This can't be a "guess" diminsion you MUST be correct in a gasket choice...Or BIG $$$ damage WILL occure
