I have a 1970 Mercrury 115HP I6. When I run it for a while it throws oil out all over the motor. This is a 2cycle motor so the only oil is in the gas. I am using 50:1 ratio mixture. The oil leak is so bad that it get out on the water. Thanks for the Help and Info

Check the recirculation (bleed) hose from the bottom of the block to the top. Run the motor on the hose look for leaks. Check the float levels, are any of the carbs leaking. Does it happen only after tilting the motor? Where on the block is the oil?

The oil shows up tilted or not. The oil is all over the block like someone has thrown machine oil all over the block. I will look for leaks as suggested. Thanks Very Much.

I had oil all over the back starboard side of my V6 block. It was a bleed line that had worked loose. It wasn't obvious because it was the line that connected behind the ignition switchbox.
