Bare minimum is 15psi, safer at 17psi. There is no low water pressure alarm, just an overheat alarm...I keep mine at 19-20psi.

Ziemer, just you wait son....I have a little surprise up my sleeve for ya....

Yeah, your right....I can't bust 80 with this boat...but running 79.7 in a tournament loaded 1850lb bassboat hull, carrying all my tackle, 45 gallons of fuel, and my skinny arse ain't too bad...:D

Grant,

Jeff Jr says you can't even beat that heavy old Pantera. If you had a Mercury there would be no problem running a split shaft.

I may not be able to outrun the Pantera....but I'll pass ol Jeffrey when he's stopped at every fuel dock along the way....:D:D

I was surprised to see his other boat in the water this weekend...I thought that it may have forgotten how to float...:D:D

And where were you??? That E-tec back at the shop for another "scheduled maintenance" ??? ;) ;) :p :D :D

Just goes to show you how reliable these POS Merc's can be. I haven't run it since River Ranch and she fired right up first turn of the key. ;)

No Jeff. He doesn't have to take it in. They come out and do it for him.

Good grief...where the hell do you guys come up with this **** about my motor being in the shop all the time? I think putting 125+hrs in a year on it shows how much it is on the water. If I had bought one of them freakin 260's I'd be reringing that biotch every year...LMAO!!

And you are right Jon, it sure is nice to have a company that stands behind it's products. Customer support is where it is at! :D:D You think I coulda got a Merc tech to come that far out just to change the washers on the drain/fill screws on the gearcase?;)
