Forward gear bearing walked out of the gear causing it to lodge in the housing break apart the race and the needles locked the shifter in forward, everything else looks normal, what would cause this type of failure, this is the second failure I have heard of like this.. 1 on a sportmaster, this one is a stock non ratchet 200 case..

its caused by the excessive parachute seats causing huge amounts of forward gear load on the sector shaft

I got a LU with a Bobs? for sale. It's my buddies and he's asking $750. Needs a little touch up on the putty. He wants me to sell it on here but I don't want to build the box to ship it. I want to sell it local and not ship?????
I put it on Craigs' list a few times.

I have seen this on Omc units where the bushing will back out of foward gear. I usually find the propshaft bent or prop out of balance. Also seen one because it had wrong propwasher. good luck
