great pics,had a great time what fun bunch of folks,to bad that prop would'nt work big johnson.hope you had enough gas to get back from the dam.Tom your air pump saved the day:eek: nothing worse than a flat air mattress at 3 am:eek: :eek: wish we could have stayed longer on sunday but had to get home and take a nap before work sun. nite. Dave a really great shindig will be there next year. I am looking into something for August up here at Piseco lake ( just north of the romp) if there is an interst:confused: ? have 3 campsites and a great sandbar to hang on and do fly-bys past:D . Well I'm at home now banging my head against the wall for missing all the other Romps. I can see now I'm addicted !! What a great time with an awsome bunch of people. Everybody gets along and respects each other. Hopefully next year the State won't put me on the otherside of the campground although it was great watching you guys take off when I was eating breakfast.

Liquifly - thanks for the work you do to put this thing on. Your a stand up guy and your what performance boating is all about. I looked all over for you before I left but you were nowhere to be found. Hopefully I'll talk to you !

Helmut - watching you scream by me at the start of the dam run was an eyefull. What a great site that was. The highlight of the weekend was watching your kid at the boatramp...your obviously raising him the way a boy should be raised. Again, it was nice to meet you.

Pete (transomstand) I saw your boat when I was leaving but not you. It was a pleasure to see and hang out with you again and as always you had the best boat there ! The run back from the dam was alot of fun and I don't care what anybody says..a Ventura is faster than a Vking in ruff water.

Maureen - what would S&F do without you always behind the lens. It's always a nice site to see you at an event, even in the middle of the woods. Thank you for all your work.

AND STOKERNICK - it was a pleasure to finally meet you. I will say your Bridgeport is the best sounding engine on the lake and I will see you at the Dam with the Stoker (next year).

If you think everybody was running full out you are sadly mistaken. Not everyones spouses like to run at top speed. If I am not mistaken it is a family event. I was happy my family wanted to ride along to the dam. And yes, Ben did have his spouse along in the Allison. Do a search on his boat. It is John Tigers old boat that went in the low 120's.

First off I didn't disrespect anybody, I simply stated that I got a new girlfriend because the old one didn't like to go fast or enjoy any of my toys. That statement had to do with my girlfriend, not anybody elses! Second I never said anything about you, stokernick did, I simply made a statement about allison's. There has always been a long standing friendly fued between hydrostream and allison, I don't know you and also didn't know you drove an allison. The only thing I said is I was king of the v bottoms that day, BIG FUKKING DEAL. you guys are making a mountain out of a mole hill. This is one of the silliest arguments I have ever been involved in. Think about what is going on here, I said I was fast, stokernick for some reason got his panties in a bunch because I said I was fast, he mentioned your name, I said I got a new girl that likes to go fast, no everybody is pissed. sounds kinda stupid to me. Could you show me a single post by Hugetime where he said a single word about your family or boat??? He said he was the 1st "V" to the dam, which he was, and he said that made him the king of the "V"s. Nothing more, nothing less. There were a ton of other people saying that if you ran WOT etc etc you would have been 1st, but it wasn't Hugetime. You really need to read all the posts before you jump on someone for somthing that they didn't say.

John I have no doubt that perticular allison is real fast. the real issue here is I made one statement about being king of the v bottoms and someone got there painties in a bunch. kinda silly really. read the posts, I think this guy is way to emotional. I didn't offend him, his family or his boat.

If i would go to NY for holiday i sure would go the same period as the romp and come to there one day. But I think that will just stay a dream for me.

I realy love those hydrostreams! Especially the Virage and the Vegas XT;) It's a dream to own one of these.

on the way back just after the bridge. I towed for a while until Dave came by and took over. I wouldve pulled him all the way back but dave insisted so I wasnt complaining. Turned out that his gear case quit, or should I say wingnuts case quit. poor scott didnt even bring a boat and still went home with broken stuff.:(
