Break in mod vp.Powerhead!

While out tonight running the new mod vp on the stream i did a fast run up to 6 Grand and it stayed there till i shut it down.And that was right away.it might also have been building more r's just not shure..
After pulling the hood and checking the hot foot found that everything was fine and everything was closed off As it should be..my hopes are some thing small..:confused:
Any idea's will be great..

Maybe sticky linkage ??? Do you have a stiff enough throttle return spring ?

I found today that my throttle stop bolt came lose and ran its self back upping the rpm's.
It's fixed and waiting till we go run again.:D :) .TOMORROW!
