is there only one bottom style for euro skis ... ? this one im looking at says mod - vp bottom? whats the difference if any? thanks

I think there are 2- ski and mod vp if they are like other stv's

Both are great. Most like the mod vp better, but there is nothing wrong with the ski bottom. The mod vp just slows down better for racing, and slowing down to turn a corner. If I was in the market I wouldnt really care which one I was buying. Both are great. Both are selling for top dollar. Triad was only building the mod vp bottom, and would not build a ski bottom. The difference is very small in general.

Jack Barsh (FULL THROTLE ) has both bottom molds:p :p

I think the ski version was a tad faster on top but with the inverted v didnt slow down as fast so they didnt like it for racing as it stayed packed with air a little longer, so they made one that slowed down faster, from what i have read but both are great bottoms, Matt

Too cool! Like in said in the for sale thread with the prevoius owner, that is a special boat. Looking forward to seeing what you can do with it helmut.
