Beast in the East, Lake Anna, Virginia.

Well I had heard about it about 6 months ago. Then saw a thread on Hotboat. It was mostly jet boats, but they had vdrives some stv's, I even saw a hydrostream, looked pretty beat up. But it was really neat. They tried draggin' a few times as the water calmed down. I saw some boats from Fl. They some cole flat bottoms and tons of tunnells. Some boats were in the upper 500 cube range and about 1300 hp... There was a sweat lookin' eliminator hull with a 300 yamaha outboard making the nose point at a steeper than 45 degree angle... Pretty bad ass.

That was my Eliminator with the 300 on it, We had a great time there fri and sat, We may have another get together in August I would like to see some more outboards come I'am a little out numbered by jetboats, I will keep everyone posted on the date of the next event.

I wish I would have known the dates, I would have come up. We had the guy with the green jet that lives there come down and race with us last year. Great guy, and his boat was FAST!

Man you should put some pictures up of that boat. It was rally clean and that 300 slung on the back looks great. I have an older hydrostream I am getting ready, it has been sitting for awhile. It runs in the 80's. Not sure if you remember and dont know how annoying it is, but I was in my Dads big block powered airboat goofing around...

The guy with the green boat was Jack he owns the place where the party was held great guy! I saw the airboat man that thing makes some noise. Jack is starting a group to fight some people at the lake who want a law passed to not allow any boats on the lake that will go faster than 50mph and put noise restrictions on boats the group is growing I hope we can stop these people. www.labara. com

Its been 15+years since ive been to Lake Anna that place was not made for speed limits we used to test stuff and no matter how fast, someone was faster it was like an eastern Havasu. Would like to bring a few from over this way to meet up with some of yall. Rick

Scratch that I looked at some posts and saw 100 mph from that 300... Next I see you make fiberglass bucket seats... When you get time can you shoot me some pictures and prices? Im located in Richmond.

i have a house in the mountians in Pulaski va. Claytor lake is very close, lots a bass boys from the Volvo plant but haven't seen anything else. thanks, fun out
