if i try to run the engine(modded 2.5/200) under load between 1500 and 2000 rpm where boat is not on a plane it starts to get up to 180, water pressure is at 10 psi, i have the tstats and poppet installed, everything is new, there is no problem in any other area of the rpm range, as soon as i bring rpm below or above this point the temp drops, any ideas??

I had a similar problem once, it was the poppet valve, it had a small hole in the diapfram.we did away with it. more trouble than its worth I think.

T-rex. The throttle is a toggle switch. Properly operated, no problem.

We had one doin' that sum time ago. Tha only thing found was tha wrong gasket tween tha two piece adapter plate. Don't relly know if that was tha problem but it didn't do it anymore after changin to tha right gasket. We coulda shook somethin' else loose while we were beatin' on it..........T
How cum I don't see a RED button:confused:
