2.4 Bridgeport

Can anyone tell me about the 2.4 Bridgeport, good, bad, etc?

The BP was the race motor in the late eightys early 90's before the 2.5 245 carb and the efi 260.Was 245 hp to the prop and came in carb or efi.Has nick-a sil cylinders and light flywheel.I have owned several and realy liked them.I have also seen dyno sheets with over 265 hp at the crank.Some dont like them because of the rods but all in all its a great affordable way to get some good power.:)

Price? probaly around $2,500-$4,000 in great shape and or rebuilt and renicked.Powerhead only
