can a 260 ecu be repaired? injectors not spraying

the harness is from an anolog box (tpi removed) , i got spark all 6 ,i have 12v at the fuel injectors just no ground ,that is the ecu's job. can the ecu be repaired?????????? or is their something simple im missing?????????

i reinstalled the old chip(a49) for breaking in the engine . i put the chip in so the notches line up . which is upside down.

Do you have a picture of the EFI box with the cover off. If the chip gets installed upside down it kills the chip but the box will will be fine. It almost sounds like they soldered the scocket in upside down. No injectors firing sounds like the chip is not working. I can check the chips for you for free before you spend money on the EFI box if you like. I could also check the box if need be.

i have a second efi box and i installed the A49 chip in it (same chip differnt box) and the engine now starts but drops right off . i also have a 3rd box analog i will install it and see what happens . if the engine runs i will send you my stuff to look at thanks. the first box i have i got the engine to start with an a65 chip but it drops right off. i put the a65 chip in the second efi box and the engine ran,only problem is the a65 is for a 56 pound reg i have 39 regulator.so i put the a48 chip in the second box and it started but dropped right off . the a49 chip doesnt run in either box , the a65 only worked in the second box ,and the other chips only started up then droped off . so i put the anolog box on for now ,in run fine with the analog box . i would like for you to check my stuff out for me $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$????????????????????????????thanks glenn

i will send stuff out next week. what do do make out of what i found????????????????is the analog harness a problem?????? i have the shematic their are a few wires that are slightly diff .
for1 the digital harness has a red/purple wire from the ecu going to the fuel pump the anolog harness dont
2 on the digital harness the yel/red is routed differently then the anolag

question????????????? what does the chock circut do now that i have efi system

The analog harness will work on the digital boxes. Some people short two of the TPI wires but either way it will run.

Connect the blue and orange wires on the TPI plug together. Not doing this will not stop it from running.

Coin boy the digital ecu uses a internal tps/map sensor and the anolog uses a external tps,witch is what the blu/org wires conect to .With those wires open in the harness it runs at full rich when use the digital box and anolog harness.
you should have the digital harness on your engine.if not i do have a spare harness if you need it.

turned out my ecus were good (thanks us1) and i changed out the switch boxes and plugs and the engine is now running , i still believe that it is still not all the way up on power!!!!!! maybbe the stator , engine doesnt go over 7k..................
and today it was dieing down to 5k and only went up to 6200 , fuel pressure is good i installed a gauge today 39 psi all the time .
i still hit 86 mph but after 1/2 to 3/4 throttle there is very little power , maybee a smaller prop is what the 260 needs.
