I used to run a 26" pitch Drag 4 ,From Proformance Propellers on my GT 20 , but have not had one on my Xb 02 . My Xb 02 , drives the best with a Big Ear Mercury Chopper . It's not the fastest ,but it will carry any load you put in the boat and follow the trim as advertised . When running a lite load the Mercury ET,s have been the fastest ,and boat handles well with them . My rig weighs 1550 Lb. dry ,with driver ,so figure 1750Lb. with fuel and a cooler . I'm running 10" setback ,with a 15" 2.4 ,200 ,about even with the pad . Hope this gives you some help . Rich Martin 018:D

i just got the boat, its my first allison, it runs right at 85.4 on gps, w/ a chopper cut et, my motor is still low, its about 1 inch below the pad, it gets scary at high speeds, the motor is a 1997 225 pro-max

I have a 4 blade 27" Hoss copy that I occasionally run. It drives easier than the 3 blades. I can run in the 90's in an "overtrim" condition and the boat doesn't want to fall off the pad. But, I have a worked 26 chopper that is quicker out of the hole and faster top end so the 4 blade gathers dust. There are a few people out there that work choppers and a worked chopper is a good all around prop.

I run a bob's CLE and at 1" below the pad it thinks its a crankbait. If you come up some it will probably be easier to drive. You should notice a difference at a half inch below to even with the pad. Your speed will come up too. I move mine in 1/4 inch adjustments when testing.
