Took the boat and went camping with the wife and some friends. Snapped a few photos, thought you may like to see 'em. This was at Saylorville Lake in Central Iowa. We even did about a 25+ round trip up the river and back. It was a blast!

And because we were boating and drunk, I'll share one stupid drunk photo. :D Yes, I know I'm fat.

What were the piling out there in the middle of the water, a bridge going in?

What engine is in the Dodge Dart. I used to have two Dodge Dart GTs, both with 273s. They were great fun, but that was many, many moons ago.

The pillars is where a train trussel USED to be. They tore it down and left the pillars.

I've got a "stock" ;) 340/4speed set up for it. I just got my Dana 60 back from getting shortened and the 9" ends put on it. I'll have it assembled and under the car this weekend.
It'll look like a granny car on the outside. A wolf in sheeps clothing per say. :D

We call those sleepers !! They look like Grandma's car until you put your foot in it. Nice pics. I wish we still needed a jacket around here. Tent camping is over until fall. Mike

Yeah it'll be a sleeper, until I hit the key switch. ;)

It was a beutiful weekend. Low 80's and low humidity. I wish they could all be like that! Made the boat trip fun. I think it was about a 25 mile trip we made. Some of it at 60+mph, but most of it off plane. :D

It was a little windy out, so I think that scared a lot of people away. As soon as we hit the river it was calm again for the most part. We ended up tieing up with a couple of people and partying most of the afternoon.

same here;) for my 69 cuda'340 4 speed fastback but i think the cam gives it away by the fact that the car at idle rocks back and forth ... i love how people under estimate the 340 just makes it a better surprise....

Or the way the 11.25:1 pops through the exhaust. :D

It's a sleeper 'till I hit the key. Or will be when it's done I should say.
