I am running a 21' Obsession ( eliminator ) I just put on a 4 blade cleaver 28 pitch, I am set 1" below the pad because the V8 seems to run better a little low. The new prop seems to be the best one that I have tried but when I hit 80 the boat get a bad hop or bounce, so bad that I feel the back lifting almost out of the water. Is it packing air then loosing it? Or am I trimming it wrong? I really like the accelration of this prop 20 to 80 is like no other prop I have run so far.

Sounds to me like you're climbing the bubble ;)
But,
A heavier V-8 is just gonna make that climb alot more noticible than with a lighter motor. Trim up a little while packing, then get her tucked back in.
I don't believe you're not gonna have much left in her with that 28 after the bubble, unless you're SCREAMIN':D

My 21' Talon with a Merc 2.5 race motor did the same thing in the 70's. Once the "bubble" cleared the tunnel the boat would settle down and accellerate through the low 80's. I was running a Merc Chopper 28 worked by DAH.
