2002 Pro XB Limited Questions?

Can someone please give me the pro s and cons with the 02 Pro XB 250? Thanks

pros: badass EFI 250, good torque, proven and turn-key reliable powerplant

Cons: likes gas, and possibly a little on the heavy side/not enough rpm for your application. What are you putting it on?

Prop it high pitch ( I'm thinkin' 30p or more), go in a couple of inches on the jackplate (maybe a 6"-8") or maybe more than the standard 375-400 lbs, outboard... I'm no super Allison Guru, but this is where I would start if the set-up were mine...

i apperciate all the info guys! I have it on my XTB Allison tourney boat. Just really have it set up for ease of fishing with decent top speed. Not trying to set any records, just want good performance with reliailbilty.. Thanks again, if anyone else has any input, please chime in!!!!!!!!!!!THANKS

The xb is virtually as fast as a 300 pro max. Do the hood modification and haul azz.
