I am surprised a boat that big could blowover! It sure sems to happen slower than a small boat.

Size doesn't matter when it comes to aerodynamics.

The bigger they are, the slower the flip.

I guess you can't draft, or get to close to another boats dirty air, as soon as he got in the other guys spray he was toast. :eek:

Thats exactly what happened.

I had a near blowover when I shot between two of my friends tunnels at around 65-70, as soon as I got to the transoms of their boats, the bow came up pretty high.

I thought I was gonna pass them doing a wheelie............or worse.........

(don't think I'll try that again)

The bigger boats just look like they are going slower, That was a 100 + MPH blowover.:eek:

I meant the actual rotation is slower. The little boats flip really fast. This looks slow motion in comparison. I agree they had to be going fast, I doubt "only" 100 would come close to doing that. By the loofs of it thats a 36 footer or so!

thats why unlimited hudros don't dare get in each others spray, the roostertail has an upward force to it and get it under an entrapment hull and it's like hitting the UP button, same goes for anything else i suppose, the unlimiteds run in lanes in the turns and you can't play nascar and try to block. ;) fun out

And you have to be at least 5 boat lengths ahead before you can take that lane, (line) away from the boat you just passed.

Thats a dumb ass driver to make a turn at that speed and drift onto the other boats wake.An expensive lesson in the horrors of stupidity.:cool:
