View Full Version : Need advice on fishing rig

I'm in the market to buy a new or lightly used 16-19 foot aluminum flat bottom boat that is capable of holding a 70 hp motor and can run real shallow.

It would have to be a side console or center console and have a forward casting deck with live wells and ample storage.

I've been toying with the idea of picking up a jet hull and running the prop in the tunnel to save me a few inches. I understand it will not be useful for turning but should be fine going straight.

The motor will be a 94 70 hp omc 20" w/ power tilt/trim.

The only other issue will be that i require that the hull completely unrigged and i will provide my own trailer.

What manufactures and or models do you guys recommend that will fit my needs?
