I have a 2.5 block back half with a 2.4 vert. front. What would be the preferred front half to get for this? I have read 5s 7s 14s reeds?
Are the fronts the same except for the reed plates?
Is it work my while to swap it or run the combination I have? I found out after I bought it that it was a 2.5/2.4
Thanks

If it wont fit what do I have? I never remembered reading about any 2.5 with vertical front halves.

Pull a head and see what it measures. If it measures 3.375 it is a 2.4. If it measures 3.5 it is a 2.5. You need to know what you've got before you can do any mods. You also might list the number on the welch plug on top of the motor.

Neva seen a 2.5 wit vert front!!!.....Vert fronts went away back in tha 80's!!...
A 1991 2.4 fatblock front will fit a 2.5(because it iz a 2.5 sleeved down) but other than that Fatblock, juss ain't gunna happen!!
