2.5 mariner ?

Hey everybody. Im looking at buying a 2.5 260 powerhead. It supposed to only have 30 hours on it. Its complete but apart because it dropped a piston pin and scratched the cylinder wall. Do all 260 motors have nic plated cylinder walls or do they have nic plated sleeves? This motor appears to have sleeves in all six, and i was told that its special block. Any help would be great.

They have sleeves that are Nicasil coated. So it will appear to have sleeves in it.

Thanks, i thought they did but i wasnt sure. Does anybody know what a disasembled powerhead would be worth with new merc parts- pistons, bearings, cowl, electronics would be worth? I dont want to insult the guy with a low offer, but i dont want to get ripped either.
