imco hydraulic steering for outbaords..

just purchased 2-merc 300xs..wondering if the IMCO HYDRAULIC STEERING is good for these motors..if anyone has them ..let me know..

I have the dual ram version on my 21 Skater with PM 300, I run the motor very high on the plate. The Capillino helm is the same as Marine Machine or Latham uses and the rams are also equally well constructed have had no problems, in a performance test I don't think you could tell the systems apart.

thanks, some of these guys were telling me that the imco steering is not compatible to the new merc 300xs, i should have known better..i really like the way the system looks and sets up on the mercs..as far as the plates..i try to put the motors as high as poss.oh, the motors have 20 mids..just enough to keep the water pressure where it has to be..but anyways, thanks for you help ...really looking for some MPH..100 PLUS..
