GUYS IT LOOKS AS THOUGH WE WILL BE TRYING TO PUT ON ANOTHER RACE HERE ON THE FLINT RIVER IN BAINBRIDGE GEORGIA. I AM POSTING THIS THREAD TO GET EVERYONE THAT IS THINKING THEY MAY ATTEND TO GIVE SOME IDEAS ON SOME DATES. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO GET SOME THOUGHTS FROM THE ONES THAT CAME LAST YEAR ON SOME CHANGES THAT MAY NEED TO BE MADE, NOW I KNOW WE CANNOT MAKE EVERYONE HAPPY BUT I WOULD LIKE TO GET AS CLOSE AS I CAN. EVERYTHING WENT SMOOTH LAST YEAR AND I PLAN ON IT GOING THE SAME THIS YEAR, SO ANY THOUGHTS, CONCERNS, OR SUGGESTIONS WILL BE TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION.

I'm not sure about Georgia but when I contacted the Caoast Guard about the possibility of having some drags at River Ranch they said they needed 133-days notice. Mite want to keep that in mind. Good luck and keep us informed when dates are set. Mike T.

I will come. I had a good time last year. I came with an SS 2000 I had never driven. I have a little more time in it now.

Tell whoever the guy was with the other (white) SS2000 who said that I should "take one for the team", I may not be as willing to help him out this time.

The patrol folks were great last year and even tried to help me out when I had an electrical problem.

I would really like to come over there again this year.

Yeah , I finally made it back last night. Looks great . I'm gonna take it off the trailer and redo it while the boats empty . I 'm very pleased with how it came out . I 'm gonna buff on the top a little more but . That can wait for now. I startin over from scratch different setback , bottom , case evrything . Yeah this is the same guy. he lives about a mile down the lake from me. Richard Brickner can build some motors, I rembered watching them race 15 years ago. I was lucky enough to buy his buddys boat in a divorce sale, (I finished breaking the motor in) for $5500. now if I can just afford the gas and Depends for the people in the back seat I will be good, Also our water level has not fluctuated any. they make sure the lake is full every weekend!!!!! Anybody ever want to come over and play message me and I will give you my number. there isn't but 3-4 fast boats up here but plenty of beer and burgers at the sandbar!!!!!!!!

when I went there last year, it was simply call someone out and go. No rules, no classes, just go for it...the way it should be.

If you win, go have a beer and bask in the glory until someone else calls you out...if you lose, look for a Hydrostream to race.

But like I said in an earlier post, one guy who was totally out of my league asked me to "take one for the team" due to a new girl friend or something like that. If I take one for the team this time, it'll be because they earned it. And, whether I should or not, I will race the 300 drags, I just don't care.

you're telling me that all 300s are slow and my 260 will wax them. That's a good start...I like that.

But I think I am going to add this to the mix...If I lose, I am calling the winner back to the line. If they will not race me again, I win both races. If they will race me again and I lose again, I am calling them back to the line for a third time. If they will not do it, then I am the winner of all three races.

See, I have an advantage, as many people know, I will race my boat till it drops (which it very well may do this weekend)...so I will race anybody, don't care.

Given that "Spanishracer" shares my philosophy, if someone will introduce us, I will make sure we race.

I was originally gonna just bring 14 gallons of fuel, but I think I will make a day out of it and bring the whole 20 gallons.

Can't wait to get started.
