Do all the new 3.0 liter impellers from QS have a phenolic center hub? The others I have bought all had the brass hub. Just curious, if there has been any problems with them?

Thanks RK, I forgot to mention this is a 3.0 liter. Anyone have any problems with the phenolic hub?

thats the 47-43026-t impellor your refereing to .

this has proved to be a lot harder wearing that the 89984 type.

& have not expeerianced any separation between the phenolic centre & the rubber on any genuine impellors to date.;)

they are also a lot more forgiving when it comes to short periods of water starvation.

Sorry, that's not for a 3.0L.

Thanks TAXXIVADOR, I was curious as to the durability with heat and all. On the other hand the phenolic is lighter weight. Reducing reciprocating mass is a good thing right.
