I don't know if it's the right way, but I upload the pic to a folder on one of my web sites, then click the INSERT IMAGE icon in the Quick Reply box and it asks for the image location, so I type in location...i.e. ... yourwebsite.com/snf/imagename.jpg and the image appears in your Qucik Reply box.

There's probably a more correct way...

I don't know what year the photo is...it was a Long Island race, found the photo on eBay last winter. Someone could probably identify the year of the motors...

302Sport, I've heard of Velocity 22s with twin 2.4 or 2.5s that run in the 90s. There was a Superboat 24 for sale here last year with stock twin 2.4s that ran in the low 70s. With the 30, you'd probably want 3L engines anyhow...

Air my buddy has a 80 with that deck,mines a 81 and its like a 24 cig or bannana,but i could be wrong about made only that year and i saw one about 7 years ago on LI with twins ob,s with that sloping deck,i shudda bought that also ,but one velocity in the family is enough,but i was wrong,my wife even said buy it ,i said naw,what a jerk i was!!! i wasn't sure of the year,and there was one on ebay about a year ago,in cali,with the sloping deck that went for 1700 a MT hull only,i believe a 80 also tripps

hey cutwater, you say that photo is from a long island race? if so that boat was raced by dickie fantozzi or his brother. the boat is early 80`s with twin 225 mercs. as a kid my friends and i would clean and polish it just to get a ride! the boat still runs in the island park/ long beach bays. that boat had a huge influence on my addiction today. ED

The eBay seller was on LI and stated it was a LI race. Back of the photo, which is 8x10, has a stamp that says Freeze Frame Photo, Huntington, NY. I resized it to post, but looking at the actual photo, which is slightly grainy, it does look like 225 on the port motor. Also, the boat registration is legible, NY 3102 PF, maybe someone can match it up.

eddy you are right...that is Dickies old boat...it is still around.... last time i saw it was last year....it now has a pair of 250 yamahas that i rigged on it....the boat ran in the low 70s with the yamahas but we really never played with set up much...i think they may be selling it now due to lack of use...its actually still in the Fantozzi family...it was under wraps indoors from when dickie passed away until about 2001...then it was taken out and used a little for a season and repowered...

tripps...if my memory srves me correctly it is a 1981 boat...they made two difeerent decks on them..i like this deck better as well....

yeah ghost, when dickie passed tommy and junior wrapped it up and stored for personal reasons. i think cranker(jimmy C) runs it around here and there. the boat has that cool old school cool look. if you run in around the warm waters or reynolds channel you may catch a glimpse. i think he docks it at K&K? ED
