Fastest scarab outboard.....sport deck or open

Whats the fastest speeds anybody has acheived in a Scarab outboard???????? Im really interested in the numbers for a 34 Raider.......

74.5 on GPS a few weeks ago. Twin Evo Marine Stage 5 V8's spinning Bravo 1 24's to 6500ish.

I knew you were going to be the first in on this one :D Do you know anything about how fast those 34 Raider sport decks can be??????? How much HP are you puttin out??? Jack plates?????

Never heard of a Raider. You don't mean the 34 Super Sport do you? My motors are supposed to be 430hp each, but I seriously doubt it. Not really knowing their background, I will shortly be having Monty build me up a pair of my spare 4.0's as backup/replacements. He has told me 380hp or so on pump gas.

I don't have jackplates currently, but will down the road. I have been raising the motors though. I raised them 2" from where they were when I bought the boat and it went from 69.8 to 74.5 on GPS. Went up another 2" a few weeks ago, but the weather is getting warmer so I doubt it will go as fast. Supposed to be 102 this weekend...but I'll try anyway. :)
