Hey all
I'm new to the site but am looking forward to everything it has to offer. Having been an an I\O v-bottom owner for years I'm also looking forward to getting my new boat in the water this weekend, it's a 32b Skater with quad 2.5's. I was actually going to re-rig it with twin 300xs's but think i may run it for a bit the way it is before I do. Any suggestions?

Keep the four 2.5's-better shock factor. And they sound better in harmony:)

I met the guy that rigged that boat a couple of months ago, and looked through a bunch of pictures of it when it was first completed. He's located in St. Pete. Good looking boat.

Could if he runs out of gas, which by the looks of it might be very possible!;)

Congrats if you can afford to run it and maintain it!!! Gorgeous boat. Welcome to S&F.

I think you will have less problems and more reliability with the 300's. I will try to get his phone # for you . Hope this helps . leadingedgepropeller.com

are you going to re-rig with (2) 300xs ?? This 32' Classic has (2) 300x engines. I couldn't imagine a 32B with (2)

Don't change a thing- I drove the boat 1st time out with Andrew and John Ingle. They have rigged and maintained my last three Skaters, help put a world record under my belt, and are working on my new 30 Skater. Your boat is neat, I kid about being able to play cards at a 100mph below the dash. It carves turns nice at 80 and is very graceful well past 120. Enjoy it! Ingle Marine's # 727-572-8363, He can tell you anything about the boat and help with a re-rig if you go with 3 liters. Good luck-

That's what I thought. Ed sent me some pics of a 28 with triple 300XS motors on it. I was down at his shop a few months ago installing a 5-Axis waterjet cutter for a few weeks. They do some impressive work. Our company is installing a 5-Axis Mill right now for doing boat plugs. He will have a pretty rocking setup in a few months. Post some pics when it’s done I would like to see how it turns out.

BTW. Awsome looking boat tzrider. The quads add a lot of WOW factor

Just left Ed's it's a small world, he's hoping the Mill will be ready for the test paths tomorrow. Machine is very impressive glad to see this technology getting closer to my home. I hope he can keep it busy, now people will a better choice than going to Vectorworks Ed has much more integrity.

Well I had a long talk with Andrew at Ingle today and all I can say is "WOW" what a wealth of knowledge, not only about my boat but the marine industry in general. He provided some valuable direction about the setup pertaining to where he had it working the best.I took a page of notes and will be checking specs off one by one.

Thanks for the insight everyone

That’s me. The boat is a Liberator, so it’s a 21 Eliminator copy. I have made to many boat parts to count on the Jet. It’s a great tool. Ed is a real go getter; he has the ability to make both of those machines real busy. I'm amazed by the amount of work he is already getting on the waterjet. I will put a post in the custom rigging and metal Fab forum under the heading Waterjet with some pics so we can quit hijacking tzriders thread
