Ok, new motor is assembled, running right, cooling right (thanks to all that gave advice, US1, capt., Prof. O/B) and 2 hours into break-in, fingers crossed:o
Now I'm wondering what the HP of this thing would be about,
Started with a steel sleeve bridgeport, ported to US1's 330Hp portmap,
Square ported & matched pistons, four finger ports in pistons (thanks Rock;) )
140 psi heads,
Exhaust chest flowed a bit, not hogged out,
Boyesen reeds,
Crossdrilled intake, WH15 carbs,
Drystacked two piece plate,
short tuner,
Can out & exhaust relieved.
It sounds great, a little rich on idle but will get to that later, any one of the engine gurus like to take a stab at what it's making and where?
