Hey again, This motor starts, idles and mid to topend is perfect. When I open it up for holeshot, the motor will rev up and bog about 3 times before coming out of the hole. It does it cold and warn and I have tried to choke it to see if it was starving but it would start to flood it. I took the fuel pump apart and checked the diaphram with a light and looks good. The only other issue is pretty heavy smoke at idle at all times. I mix 50-1 and the carbs were gone over. I swapped from 31s to 20s and jetted a little rich for peace of mind and increased the idle jets to lean it out some to try and lighten the smoke. This started when I put the 20s on and am considering going back to the 31s. Any help would be great, besides this small issue the motor runs great thanks to you guys and would like to get it resolved. Could it be an electrical issue? Thanks Lee NJ

Well if it's on a Gamblier, ther hole shot's bad to start with, that's why the new ones have built in trime tab's. You need to run a fout blade prop and if you find a longer exaust tuner like the older 150's had and milling you heads a little will help.

Holeshot was never an issue. It was about 3 secs now with this issue its 4-5. As far as the motor goes its an 87 2.4 with bridgeport front,4ped reeds,wh20s,1pc hemi heads(135lbs),D-ported and enlarged fingerports, light exhaust cut,200 bell tuner, one pc-plate,off shore housing. Again this is an issue that just started. For starters, I will swap back to the 31s to see if its a carb issue, but was hoping it was an electrical one. Thanks Lee
