Yup, you can keep everything stock and dry-stack.
Have to weld up the holes in the plate where I circled in red.
I attached the tubes to the tuner at the bottom with some hevy duty steel ADEL clamps, countersunk structural screws and hi-temp lock nuts.
This was before I had trimmed the stainless tubes to length, so that's why they look so long. I also pinched the end of the tube to get a wide fan of water, you can "tune" the spray pattern with a garden hose ;)

With NO water spraying on the tuner or mid section, aren't you taking a chance
burning the tuner and paint? I have wanted to do this but don't wanna cook
my parts!

Hey Burke, what's the ID of that tube you used?
Nice work

Thanks, Alan

I'd have to check the ID, but the OD is 1/4".

Ok thanks, so it's small anyway. Just wondering as Ive just drystacked my two pce. plate and am having a few water issues, just wondering how much water your dumping into the mid.
What's your water pressure at idle like and do you get water out the heads at idle?

Thanks Burke,

Alan;)

I have good pressure at idle, and 22-ish at WO.
My mods are different than Greg Moss's, but I was wanting a different result for different reasons, COLD water here !! I have a steel bore oval port, so same problem as you.
I have a poppet installed, so I get a strong flow out all my dumps at idle, temp comes up to 120 at idle :D
Here's the threads for some reading, the dry stack would work the same without doing my modifications.
Easier to just list the threads than try to explain.............

Kingsbiship, I painted the mid with Alumigrip and it hasn't discolored yet. Tuner seems fine too. I am not running ultra lean, I've heard that can happen though, maybe with the EGT's higher though.............
I did notice with the water tubes the way I angled them (by eye), that my water pump guide tube HASN'T melted yet either :D
