We've rigged at least half a dozen 25 Liberators [same hull] with 300's. They run great. I always bolt them right to the transom. If you want adjustment, go with the smaller set. You're still gonna get the hop. I always put tunnel tabs on to stop the hop. Works great for me and my customers, but some guys don't like them. You can see pics of how I set them up by clicking on my website below.

Wildman you spin the props in or out? How high you running them? As high as you can and have good water psi? Sportmasters
Thank you Skydog

I have run them two holes up, but had a few powerheads blow due to lack of water if I even slightly overtrim. I run them down on the transom now and turn the props in. It feels safer this way but isn't the fastest.

Who makes the Smaller adjustable jack plates (2.5 inch)??? I Have the 5.5 ones brand new that I bought, What would be the disadvantage of usuing the more offset?? Thanks C
