25" to 20" shaft conversion - whats involved?

I'm wanting to convert a Merc 2.5 from 25" shaft to 20".I know the shaft can be cut and welded but whats involved in the mid-section?

your going to need a water tube , shift linkage bar, and a 20" leg, and gaskets.....it should take you about an hour if you have the power head off already if not you'll have to remove that too......
don't forget the gaskets!!
