can anyone tell me if it matter's if i hook up line 1 to a hot or line 2 to the hot? this is on a dayton 3/4 hp 1phase motor on 110v.

Your black wire (switched wire) goes to T1

al, actually the black is line 1 and a 3wire bundle is said to be line 2 on the diagram, just wondering if it matters how my power leads will hook up to this.

Black is the hot lead and should be the switched lead.
The white lead is the neutral
green is ground.

Black is high
Red is low
Yellow or blue is med
White is N
