Anybody know where to get replacement hold downs. I need 2. Let me know if you have spares on a broken cowling. Thanks.

Be careful on these, they are not all the same. Try to match it up with yours before buying.

they are available at most truck parts houses. Trucks use them to hold the battery trays in place. that is where is get them if I need them.

Thanks guys. They're the last item I need to fix the barb-wire fence damage. Gotta quit boating in the desert.

Hi Bill!

Great to see you back again! I just found some old pictures from back in the "old" days - one I took of you, your dad, the Yungers and Styers at Parker. Did you get second place that year? Hey -- Did you hear what Keith Yunger is doing for a living these days? ;) email me.

Now, just exactly how did a barbed wire fence mess up your cowling???

Must be an interesting story .. :)

Hey BK, I'd like to see that picture. I've got a lot of them stashed somewhere too.

What is Keith doing these days? Or Chuck for that matter.

About that fence.....well, I guess trailer couplings need to be inspected and maintained too. I'll pay more attention to that in the future. The think unhooked itself at about 70 mph on I-10 near Palm Springs. Thrashed around, broke the chain, rammed the side of my truck, and exited stage right. Then mowed down/thru wire fence, jumped the embankment like the "Dukes of Hazard" and landed in some bushes. Havent seen that much air under the Stoker since Havasu 85. Trailer took the brunt of it, and insurance paid for everything. Hell, boat and trailer are better now than B4 and I still have money left over.
