I just got a Jay Smith flywheel puller and wanted to say how great it is. This thing will never split the end of the crankshaft or strip like the OEM removers do and you get the bonus of the powerhead puller ring attachment. What a great tool. Thanks Jay.

I don't like mine John. It's too damn nice to use. I've had it sitting on the butcher block in the kitchen ever since I got it, and it's been handled by everybody that walks in the house. One friend's exceptionally high maintenance wife even picked it up and fondled it the other day. I had her convinced that it was an opener for a high dollar vintage wine that had a unique bottle, and she was really admiring it, even had her thinking they were available in designer colors. Then her husband ruined my fun by telling her it was a boat tool and she put it down like she'd been holding a piece of rotten fruit.

Seriously though, it's one of the best made special tools I've ever had. I'm just waitin' for Jay to make a few in stainless so i can upgrade.

Stainless looks good but don't you think it's too soft and it will gald.

Still crazy

I just used mine as a lifting hook to install my motor onto the jackplate. It made the job a breeze. A real quality piece I highly recommend.

Between my motors, Duckys motors, and Sids motor, muine has gotten a workout and is still going strong. Makes life a lot easier.

Called and got mine in day and half. And it's being used as we speak. I'm thinking of getting a few engraved and sending them out for Xmas presents.

As you know I have one of your puller/ lifters. It is obvious that it was designed by a guy who has "been there and done that."

Thanks!

A friend had to buy the die to repair the threads on a crank that had been subjected to the "other puller."

Yes, I must have put that die on and off 30 times making sure it was going straight. He still uses that puller!!!

My JSRE Flywheel tool is just way too nice to use - I am going to use it though, because I gotta see how well those bearings work!!!
