Info wanted on Action speedboats.

Looking for some info on Action boats. How do they perform? Pros and cons? Seem to be a few different lengths and I notice some have a pointy nose, some don't? I tried doing a search through the forums but any posts over a month old seem to be gone...

are you interested in?I had a 19 and a 20 footer, never had a 18 but they are the faster ones.Either one is a fun ride,takes some time to learn them and get hooked up on the pad ,but once you learn its one hell of a fealing.There are plenty of people on here with them.

I love my 17. It feels solid as a rock untill 94mph after that it starts feeling a little light. But like SkeeterD said you have to get use to them. It's one of those things that you can always get better at. I'm still learning new things every time I fly. They are a very dry riding boat I have never gotten wet in one. They turn nice and feel so smooth when it's glassed out.

Thanks for the info guys, I believe the one I am interested in was made around 1990 and is 17-18' long? Looks similar to a Hydrostream Ventura

As they get bigger the bow becomes pointier. :D

How do they compare speed and ride wise with a Hydrostream Viking? Say with a 2.4 Bridgeport? I know a Viking should go an easy 95mph with a BP.

There is a huge action thread here maybe a year old, some say they drive better than the other streams. I was told a 16, or a ventura, would be nicer than a viper to run.
