Well after several thousands of dollars and countless hours of prep we did what we said and showed up ready to race... So I guess in a way that was a major victory in itself...
Thanks to the ODBA Officals who really tried their best to acomidate us....They are really a bunch of good folks.
Unfortunately there was nobody to race... We toyed with the idea of running modified production... "which was the only class we would fit on Sunday" But figured if we went out and kicked some of those boys ass's it might hurt their feelings....
Marty was there on Sat but had to leave and do some las minute repairs and had some bad luck and was unable to make it back for the Sunday race...
Could not have done it with out alot of help from some really great friends... I spent alot of time, and the drive back and forth to Beaumont is a real pain... But I don't work on boats all day... Kevin and the Circle D guys work on that **** all day... and then instead of going home after work or on their day off.. they stay to help me...
Not sure about future plans.... Will make WestLake for sure... but not sure it's worth the travel "all the other races are between 700 and 1300 miles" Also plan to take it to Rex's party in May... and of course we'll drag it to the grave yard for some play time...
Pictures.. check back later this PM... cause this ain't like any HydroStream you've ever seen......
