Does anybody have any good ideas on how to fill in the area where the oil injection drive gear is ?
I will be running a non-oiler crank and would like to keep the crankcase volume down.
Maybe a machined aluminum pc that fits in there and also seals against the sealing ring ? or is there something I can buy ?

I did a search and found a post where you said you filled the void with an epoxy.
What kind of epoxy are you using in this extreme location ? I have some "metal set" here, is that what you're using ?
Is it staying intact over time ?

I use a epoxy made by Maneley. It is used for changing the shape of intake runners. Jay uses Dolphinite it is available at most fisheries or commercial fish supply stores. The fisher men use it to make repairs on their boats it will harden under water. Both are resistant to gas. The Maneley epoxy is resistant to alchohol also.
