What I salvaged from Minn. was nearly junk. (Hooker SC and DC Vegas Skier).
You are supposed to be building an XT bass boat by now, how's it going???

:D I HAVE NOT HEARD TO MANY PEOPLE TALK ABOUT THOSE MOLDS OR BOATS ON SCREAMANDFLY. ALL I KNOW IS THAT THEY ARE ORIGINAL AND I HAVE RELEASED PARTS FROM THOESE MOLDS. THERE IS A VERY LARGE FOLLOWING OF PEOPLE THAT WANT THIS HULL OR WANT TO REPAIR THIS HULL AND I AM NOT INTERESTED IN TRYING TO SUPPLY HULLS FOR THE COST THAT PEOPLE SEEM TO BE INTERESTED IN IT FOR.
THANKS AGAIN, BILL:cool:

Weeeeeeell not yet. My cohorts backed out on me so I'm just sitting on them right now. Getting pretty goddamn sick of the weather here in Michigan, so I'm trying to sock away some bucks and maybe take me and my crap somewhere warmer. It was a hard winter and I'd love to find someplace where I can just work on boats all year instead of piles of **** like snowmobiles and the such for half the year or better. I'd like to off the Vegas molds actually and just stick to the one's nobody talks about on here:rolleyes: Don't be looking for anything this year. Sorry, but I'm a one man show and I have a PILE of things to get to now before building boats. I'd bet those Vector molds are pretty well bucked and 5 is waaay too much. I have a cherry 76 vector I was contemplating (OH NOOOO) popping something off of, but I have absolultey no time or cash for much of anything right now. Later..............

well, granted I haven't been here that long, but.......................
the best way to stir the pot around here is to post negative comments about people & their opinions. They ( we) are all entitled to our own opinions, they weren't being negative towards you boatboy, they were just voicing their concerns over what they have seen in the past. This is for the most part a damn sharp savvy group & I have rec'd nothing but constructive criticism from them. Now I could have taken a different tact & taken it as them viewing me as an idiot. But I took it at it's worth & I will follow what advice I see fit in the end. You're asking someone to shell out $5 G's, I'd be asking alot of questions too............
Just my humble opinion

I don't think any one was attacking you BB.
I have to agree that all I've ever heard or read about the old Stream molds was that they were toast.
I've never seen any of them though, so just second hand (at least) info.
If you say you have a straight one, I have no reason to doubt you.
Brad Collins stopped in here a while back and told me about them then.
Personally, I don't have $5. let alone $5K :(
I also have no clue what a good mold is worth???
You may already have them sold for that matter??
I wish you nothing but good luck, Brad told me about what you were/are doing.
One thing about a lot of the peopleon this board is that we are doing this as a hobby and don't have the cash to to afford a lot for a toy.
Some are also doing as I am and trying to do a "fixer upper" thinking we're doing it the cheap way.
I can tell you with the time and $ I have in my old Vector, I could have bought your molds and hired you to build the damn thing for me :)
Anyhow, good luck and I hope you're succesfull with your marine business endevours!

First off, you thought I was ATTACKING ya with the whole boat mold deal??? Well, again, as Gator stated, I was going off 2nd hand info, from Jim, as said, maybe ya do have a usuable mold, and good luck on finding a buyer, surely someone has a need for one! If so, great... I got offended by the 'Soap Opera' comment, for you as well as I am new here, but I really enjoy the posta here for the most part, and the people are great, I get a kick out of the **** here... With what I responded with about the molds, well, again, we hear from time to time about people getting shafted, not saying you'd do so, but just wanted to raise a bit of caution to whom ever might be in the market for that mold!
Take it easy, don't be so on edge next time,
Adios,
~tony~
