15" Drive shaft length?

Just wondering if anyone has a shop drawing or knows the actual size of a 15" Merc drive shaft for a sportmaster gear case? I'm looking to cut my 20" to a 15" and re spline it. Any info would be great! Thanks.

A member by the name Ken Medendorp cuts down and resplines driveshafts and does a great job. He's in Michigan. I believe the difference in length is exactly 5". ;)

15" is 27 5/16" loa

20" is 32 3/16" loa

might not apply if driveshaft is for a xr case as the propshaftcenterline to mounting surface is shorter. have a xr shaft that ken medendorp did for me and looks better than merc's! mike t
