heavy , heavy Fines and 2 gone from NASCAR!
Indefinitely! GONE
Bobby Kennedy & David Hider
100,000.00 dollar fine
MW & team docked -100 points Qualifying speed not allowed.
(will still be able to race in the 125's to get into the show)
So Darrell Waltrip the (I LOVE TOYOTA) said
"Don't put a lot into this it's just oil"
"They just blocked of the oil system for added performance"
Yea, hot oil with additives! In the intake!
Allong with allk the others from Sunday!
This is not a way to start off with a big dollar deal!

Its a good thing he has DJ to get him in 6 races this year. MW should retire just like his older brother and work for one of the networks. Maybe he would take DW's job. He has the mouth for it. And no more boggity BS.
You should have been a reporter, Al.

Not a Mikey fan but why does NASCAR confiscate parts/cars and/or fine drivers for PRE race inspections? It is like having a gun. You cant charge me with murder till I kill someone. Why not say NOPE not allowed. Go back and try again. As I read it some cars were fined and crews suspended due to holes discovered in prerace inspection. The teams placed duct tape over the holes and they were allowed but they were still fined and suspended. The good ol' days of trading paint and driver experiance is gone. NASCAR is dictating the sport too much.
Just my 2¢

You know, I just think all these rules violations are BS! Come on, they're fining guys for drilling holes in the wheel wells and having an escape for air in the trunk??? Thats a load of crap! I call it ingenuity; Nascar calls it cheating. This is exactly why I'm not a Nascar fan! If they were really stock cars, at least one part on the car would be stock. I guarantee you there ain't a single nut, bolt or washer on those cars thats stock. Why do they call them stock cars? As far as Michael Waltrip goes, I have no idea what that was all about but he is driving a new car so chit happens when a new car comes into the series. Oh yeah, it also bothers me that they call it a sport. WTF about driving a car is a sport?

NASCAR mandates EVERYTHING on those cars and even past that says no other things allowed unless specifically listed.
After that Jimmy Johnson fiasco last season, NASCAR came away with a TON of egg on their collective faces.
Guess what, Homie dont play that crap this year. The cheaters got busted and thats what they are, cheaters. Rules is rules, play fair of suffer the penalties.
Oil in the manifold.............gimme a break! LOL
I guess Toyota figgured them dumb ol country hicks would never figure out their bag of tricks.......WRONG!
Waldrop + TOYOTER = CHEATER!

They had heavy oil mixed with Propylene Oxide/Methanol Mix
They also cutoff the oil sump tank and oil circulation system to keep the "HOT OIL" in the engine only. Bypassing the dry sump system.
SMART THINKING!
NASCAR pulls a sample out of the oil tank, So they could not find the "HOT OIL' in use.
The only reason they were found out was the inspector smelled the Propylene Oxide/Methanol Mix in the engine oil that had puddled in the intake. He had it on his hands when he felt down in the intake during the inspection and installation of restrictor plate.
The engine had a problem, when the dry sump was disconnected the crankcase vent system was not working correctly, caused oil to puddle in the intake from excess oil collecting around the valves.
NOTE: We did this a lot in karting when their was no oil check rule.
"Hot oil" can turn a engine on!!!!
I guess its great if ya like 1 or 2 teams spend a ***** tons of money and about 3 cars contend the whole race for the win(most the time there team mates.) whewwwwwww thats exciting. nascar is no different than any other sport if ya got a set of rules and ya break em, tough *****. if its not a sport define what it is???? give me a break:rolleyes:

NASCAR AIN'T A SPORT!!!!:p
But F1 is?????  Driving a car at 180 mph in a group of 20 or so cars for 3 hours is easy!!!!!;) In F1, if somebody bumps, parts of cars go everywhere. In NASCAR, if you bump, most time you just keep on getting it.

f1 and nascar both suck. Austrailias V8 supercar series is where its at. closest thing to street cars and production engines that you'll see, electronically limited to 7,500 rpm they still run 180 to 190mph on a certain tracks, which BTW are road courses.

nascar is great, shorttracks are the best, but just like everything else, money dictates almost every aspect of it except for safety.f1 has too much traction control, and driver accessible on board monitoring. If you want a computer to drive your car-go buy a playstation.however I DO agree a lot of practical real world goodies are perfected in all forms of motorsport i.e.GPS .With all of toyotas experience and money,& R&D,WHY CHEAT?(ANSWER:INFERIOR PRODUCT!!!!)GO BACK TO THE DESERT!

Nascar is Nascar, F1 is F1. Ya can't compare the two. Heck, ya can't compare almost any two racing series. They all have different rules. Find ya a series that has the rules ya like and race it.
Life would suck if every racing organization was the same. Me, I love them all, I'm just a junkie when it comes to racing.
Nascar is doing what they have to do to reign in the rampit rules infractions. These teams have so much money that fines alone don't bother them. Now when ya start suspending people and confiscating cars, they wake up.
As far as stock car racing being less than F1, that is wrong. They are different. In my limited racing experience the simpler the track the harder it is to win/finish well. If stock car racing was easy Montoya would be wiping the competition off the track. It's two different disciplines. Kinda like putting a Football team against a Rugby team.
If ya wanna watch real street cars road racing, check out Grand Am Cup racing.

Never said F1 was a sport! Look at my first post; I said driving a car isn't a sport. I never said driving a car was easy. Digging ditches for a living ain't easy either but I wouldn't call it a sport.
I guess I look at it from a drivers perspective, not as a spectator. Nascar's format is better for television and spectating. But, when I ask myself which car I'd rather drive, it's a no brainer. The quickness and agility of an F1 car is so off-the-chart that you could only truly experience it by driving one. I'd like to know what it was like to drive a car that'll turn 20,000 rpms. :)

Where do you get this stuff?
Sounds like a slick way to get some xtra HP.
Do you simply add to the engine oil and count on bypass to allow it into the induction air?
How much do you use?

From what I read they said there was a possible pill in the fuel line and or something added to the intake that might dissolve during the run .

NASCAR said it was never seen before, there is a report out that it was a rocket fuel component, possibly boron gel. NASCAR said you don't find this stuff on a "steet corner", and rocket fuel gel would fit that description.

There was a sports writer/amature Triathlete at a mag over in England who said the same thing. Well the guy who covers the auto races overheard him and got one of the F1 teams to let this guy train with their drivers for a week. Long story short the sports writer/amature triathlete called it quites after the third day. He said he had no idea you had to be in that kind of shape to drive a race car.

There has always been cheating in NASCAR and they never used to penalize it severely enough to deter it. Maybe its different now.
Once I even had the privilege of hearing Gary Nelson tell stories of cheating.
For me, cheating goes two ways. One is the Colin Chapman approach, which was to look for loopholes in the rule book. The other is hiding things that are clearly forbidden.
I was surprised to read what a long history NOX has in NASCAR.
